You know you're a mom when

I went to lunch yesterday with a friend. She made the comment "You know you're a mom when you use your finger as a spoon."

So the following are a couple of ones i thought of as well.
You know you're a mom when:

You can change a poopy diaper using only 1 to 2 wipes

You can be barfed on and not flinch

You stop changing your shirt every time the baby spits up

You forget to wash your hands after changing the diaper. I have forgotten for a minute or 2, but have been able to remember to go back and wash ;)

You forget to eat

You forget to shower

Nap time for baby means either getting cleaning done, or finally getting to sit down

Wash the binky that just fell on the floor by sucking on it before sticking it back in the baby's mouth

Have been peed on, pooped on and spit on all at the same time

What can you add to the list from your experiences?

You can hear more than one conversation going on at one time!

You can talk on the phone and discipline at the same time.

Your morning cup of coffee/tea/something with caffeine is a HUGE blessing!

You know what your baby needs based just on what cry it is, as well as be able to tell your baby's cry apart from a room full of kiddos.

Isn't it the best! Blessings!

You know you're a mom when...

When you turn your head every time you hear, "MOMMY!" BUT...

You can pick you child's voice out of a crowd immediately.

When your child says "I hate you." Translated: How dare you discipline me!"

When you can fix just about any toy.

When you take your teenager to a concert that you both want to see and you're more interested in looking out for the "wasted" kids sitting around you than the concert.

When you turn down the chance for a 10th anniversary trip to a tropical island with your husband and take your kids to Disney instead.

When you don't get to go to the bathroom alone until your youngest gets to kindergarten.

When the Bible you read most often is the "Beginner's Bible for Children." (Hey, that was the first time I ever read the "entire" Bible!)
